Guest Frank
Tom, if you have an issue, please have it out with Ian. Im fed up with it all, its getting beyond the joke at this stage, we are all ment to stick together, but i think its all falling apart on this forum. If you want to post pics of deer, foxes ect taken with dogs, then its up to you to take the knock on the door. I really dont have anything to say on the matter, strictly speaking, as i live here in southern Ireland, where we can still hunt, course, lamp foxes with lurchers ect and im out with mates that do this all the time, so im not against it what so ever. I have in the past, taken plenty of foxes with lurchers, hares ect, so dont really care what you lot get up to, fair play to you for sticking up for yourselfs. :thumbs-up: I am going to step down from being a mod and just become a ordinary member, as im fed up telling folks what to do. Foxgun Tom 75
Frank!! I have absolutely no issue with you obviously you have an issue, as you say "telling folks what to do" Moderating is and can be!! a thankless job I'm sorry if I personally, have offended you in any way? From where I'm sitting it appears wer'e censoring each other rather than censoring ourselves!! and I'm afraid some people don't know the difference? They're are certain freedoms enshrined in the media in this country and protected by legislation, and that includes the web, one of those freedoms is the right of free speech and the freedom of expression As some-one who! in the past has researched and been involved in the media on a number of occassions I find it difficult to accept!! a website that held a posistion of some unique standing on the internet!!! is being eroded bit by bit and to some of its members its!! losing some of the credibility and ethos it appeared to have been founded on?? Consider your position as a mod and don't jump the gun making rash decsions about giving it up, its a great learning process and old farts like me are not always right only opinionated Regards Tom Edited November 24, 2006 by Foxgun Tom Quote Link to post

whin 463
the way i look at it ive had to poach 90per cent of the time so i choose not to hunt often in day light those that do well they should no better, ive no pity for them, for localy i have coursers comeing and makeing it hot for me lamping localy ,why advertise your self in day light there a few locals who used to take deer on shoot days ,daylight hunting everywere getting caught lots of times salmon poaching etc all they done is educate keepers police in fact 10 miles from my house is the centre for the whole of britain wildlife liason officers ,alot of us hunters have our selves to blame i look at the harsh realities off life ,i hate the goverment and there laws at times ,but i no most of the time when to pul myself back , to me the whole part of hunting with dogs is quitely at night with or with out lamps and have a bit fun or first light on and off for an hour maybe one other its not about a social gathering like a coursing match lurchers were ment for providing the dinner etc ,not for gangs going over feils we only have ourselves to bame including me all the best Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
Were you in my lovely county Don't see many people coursing now.... Quote Link to post

But i have made up my mind and i just want peace of mind and enjoy the forum, as much as i can. I would rather be out and about, doing what comes natural to be, shooting, ferreting coursing ect. If my lovely wife allowed me more freedom , i would hardly be on here, just working, part time as i do and the rest, following, what i was put on this earth for. As it is, i can only get out 2 to 3 times a week. But, once my son joins me, we will both be out for a lot more. All the best Tom. Frank. Quote Link to post
