mel b 2,361
i'm still confused about the battery type , the batteries (x2)that operate the 15ft collars also work in the 8ft collar but only one battery is used in the 8ft collar , i'll just have to buy new batteries of the same type i've already got and hope that they don't do any damage to the collars , thanks for all the advice fellas Quote Link to post

Guest tagwag
Sounds like you have an 8' micro collar in which case you need 393 batteries. does the 8ft micro take 2x393 batteries? cheers Quote Link to post
Guest wickidweasel
--> QUOTE(mel b @ Jun 28 2006, 09:00 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> oh bugger , the ones i've got are 13za zinc air hearing aid batteries , they seem to work ok , will they damage the collars ? they are smaller than the ones you mentioned before 13ZA are the same size as 393 batteries 7.9 x 5.4 quite smaller than the ones you listed earlier the ones you need then are: silver oxide (recommended by debens) SG5 D309 D393 309 393 SR754SW SR754 SR48 Alkaline cheapos AG5 D309 D393 309 393 LR754 LR48 Zinc air (hearing aid batts NOT RECOMMENDED BY DEBENS) A13 VT13 XL13 ZA13 AP13 13A 13AE 13HPX R13ZA L13ZA PZA13 PR-13PA DA13 DA13H DA13X V13A V13AT AC13 AC13E 7000ZD B26PA PR48 ME8Z. According to Deben Zinc air batteries can damadge the euipment this may be because of different mAh ratings silver oxide 65 mAh Alkaline 60mAh and Zinc air 230mAh im no expert but Google is handy for somthing Quote Link to post
