maty j 6
the last thing i would want is a lay up on a windyy winters day when its pelting with hail and rain and the batts have run out because i skimpt on a few quid. Quote Link to post

woody 99
i get mine from boots aswel they last for ages Quote Link to post
Guest wickidweasel
for alternative equivilants look here http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Cheaper-Batteries...nformation.html . i tried the cheaper pound shop batteries you get on the sheets they last a few days continuouse the only difference is they are Alkaline instead of Silver oxide it does state in the mk3 instructions not to use Zinc oxide batteries (Hearing aid batteries). If your willing to change them often alkalines will do if you cant get them stick with the better silver oxide batts. For £6.99 you can use these to check them i think Tester Edited June 22, 2006 by wickidweasel Quote Link to post
mel b 2,373
hearing aid batts mate, you not supose to use zinc air batts, but i have for years with no probs at allis it for the 8ft or 15 foot? in know the 15 ft number is 393 or pr48 or energizer size 13 which i get from maplins if it the eight foot 1 mate tesco do them which is LR44/A76 or alteratively you can go a cheap shop and pick a card of batts for about £1-£2, but as i state cheap shop cheap batts, no saying how long they would last but it has both on there hope this is helpfull mate my mrs did say that they looked like hearing aid batteries , i've got 2 x 15 ft collars and 1 x 8 ft collar , i thought they were the same type of battery in both , i've got a couple of old batteries and the 15ft collars take 2 and the 8ft collar only takes one Quote Link to post
Guest Bigbob
Differnt sized battery for each collar mate need to check the sizes and get back to you but there only about £4 a pack of 6 from boots Quote Link to post
PETEWINN 5
Sounds like you have an 8' micro collar in which case you need 393 batteries. Quote Link to post
