Qualiy posting there mate .We would have to watch out for otters if we tried that around us .Otters are more commen than mink now in the South West.

They tend to go up the trees quite often when bieng hunted ive found,, Seen them up trees along rivers on the lamp aswell,, Was out lamping this time last year and seen a mink up a tree hunting a perching moorhen. ,They can hunt and cause alot of damage along rivers and brooks beacuse of there abilty to climb trees and stuff,, But its not only water ive found them by, Dogs usually travel of the water more than the females ive found.

Minkhounds are a good day out,, ive spent many days in the past few summers hunting with the Yetne and the Three counties,Wont be long untill its that time of year agian.
