overnunder 0
at least you got all the family and not all just the cubs great shooting no one can have a go at you because you were doing your job in keeping the farmer happy and keeping your permission, and doing a humane job about it Quote Link to post
Kane 2
Your right mate people wont like it. The difference with your post is you described it as a cull and not sport or big time shooting. You have explained why and how you went about it. Not a pleasant job but some times a necessary one. Quote Link to post
rifleshooter 0
that shot on the bigger fox seems pretty far back, is this the right place to shoot them, not knocking your shooting just curious. yes you are right but she was quartering away, and she droped on the spot i knew the bullet was going to hit the vitals so it was going to be a humane shot i had to take the shot otherwise she was into cover and i may not have got another go at her and i was there to do a job Quote Link to post
Danny-Macca 0
well in mate job well done  Quote Link to post
Guest baldie
Thats a good post, and good pics mate, i wouldnt worry about the shot on the vixen, it isnt that far back.Using a proper calibre, ensure that shots like that kill, almost every time, i would say, it probarbly clipped the back of her lungs anyway. Guest EWOK
Way to git-r-done Foxshot, was you using a call to bring them in, you've had better luck than me, we've had some hot weather here, cann't even catch a crow sitting in these hot fields and nothing coming to the calls, guess they are feeding at night and trying to stay cool in the swamp during the day.
