pure saluki's ?

 

imported ?

It means that at least one of its relatives has Cruise of Shildon's blood, Cruise was a pure Saluki owned by Joey Hanson, he was by all account a very good coursing saluki. Im not sure if he was an import, as I have heard several stories of how Joe came to own him, I may well find out soon as a mutual friend is taking me to see Joe soon, he was used by a lot of fellas as a stud hence his bloodlines are all over the country,

That puts pay to the import theory then, didn't think he was, pic of my cruise line bitch, she came out of a Saluki dog called Charlie, who was sired by CJ who was sired by Cruise, she also has cruise lines on the dams side as well, atb Richard

I don't know of anyone else other than show breeders up here sorry. I'll certainly not be breeding again for several years.

It can happen, but if you intend to hunt with it, and that is the main reason you want one, get one from coursing lines, less chance of it failing you look in CMW for pures with Khan Jihad Lines (His owner is Titan on here, he may be worth a pm, might know of litters), do a search on the dog there are pics of him on here, another member called Shaddow is well worth a pm when it comes to pure saluki's, his last litter where stunners and the fella is spot on, a credit to breeders, atvb Richard

Joe got Cruise from Mick Taylor who owned Pharo ( Fred) as did Alan Booth - fred , John Lennon- Star , Vance Paige- Vances Girl etc . One of the Pharo x Kizzy bitches was mated to Prince of Dartmoor to get Tor. Vance outcrossed to Farrar to get Ash and Abbey etc, ect and all have been extensivley bred from.

im from shildon before i moved tn crook and i know nearly every first cross is sired by cruise and i know joey well and cruise is one hell of a dog
