ferret15 0 Posted May 7, 2009 Report Share Posted May 7, 2009 don't know about the 25 quid thing but i know that you premium will go up next year ask what its for i changed insurance company last week and the woman i spoke to kept telling me i paid in arrears and that i would owe another month if i canceled,after trying to explain that my renewal date was the 3 rd may and that i owed them noting, i asked to speak to her manager and she said no you pay in advance which i knew already they don't always know what they are on about phone back and ask again. I can beat that, to change my address for correspondance to be delivered £45! Thats from my bank. Anyways, Lamp+Battery i would not be surprised if your insurance does go up. Thats why they ask that specific question when taking out insurance. sound about right in the small print on your policie somewhere there will be a note about charges applied for different reasons IE 25 quid for a letter regarding late payment that sort of thing. afraid its legal. doesn't make it right but it is legal.
