sikastag_1 689
ok hes a young lad BUT when animals could suffer because of decisions then the point should be set straight, last year i bred a jill, when she went 2 days over her due date it was time for the vets she put me onto a small animal specialist who took her and gave her a scan then told me there was dead kits, he operated and took out 1 dead kit with a deformed back end and said another 1 had disolved inside the ferret before it had matured on the way the kit that was still there did, this ferret would of died not long after i got it sorted if i didnt know the due date of her, so £120 on and £30 petrol money the ferrets alive and well and 1 of the best in the hutches (before anybody says £120 for a ferret its only a ferret bla bla) really GOOD ferrets are rare if youve done a lot of ferreting youll know this, so like i said he is a young lad but a ferret could be in trouble and he wont know because he aint got her due date, by the way it cost me £6.50 for a scan on the ferret if your that worried id go get her checked, dont come on and spit the dummy out with people whos telling you the truth, to be honest its a very stupid mistake youve made IN MY OPINION and weve probably all done you a favour because next time you line a ferret id bet youll write the date down and wont be in this situation again am i right? PORK CHOP 13
lol getting rid of 2 of last years because you need space and breeding 3 jills? next year will probably be the same the ones you keep will be going so you can breed again, if that jill has trouble youll never know because you dont know when shes due, 1 of my best ferrets would be dead now if i made that mistake last year, if your breeding next year get a calendar or even a bit of paper.what a cock you are Quote Link to post

So im giving her till monday, its only now i can feel the kits when rubbing my finger down her side so i now know she is very very close. im expecting her to have them this weekend... i know yes i may have made a stuped mistake but thats no reason to be nobs about about it is there, like i say "your #1 source for fieldsports" my ass people are to quick to play god and believe they dont do anything wrong and have ago at those which are not that experienced, yes you might think that i should not have bred her but i wanted to have a litter...
