jigsaw 11,866
persevere,i have a saluki that no way would tolerate a lead, twice a week i tried her for 2 months then one day she just walked away with a few tantrums thrown in,now shes a topper.
runforyourlife 361
Just walk the dog on the lead. You will come across much more difficult things than this in her training, good luck
JPTfellterrier 65
get a collar that she cant slip and keep an walking until she finally relises its much easier to walk than be dragged, then correct any chewing or pulling from there edited to say, do this on grass so it dont hurt its feet Edited May 6, 2009 by JPTfellterrier

wexford Pa 84
As it already says here 'perservere' she'll soon realise its easier walk than be pulled but get her out everyday, same time everyday if possible, routine i find helps.. But i do is keep a good heavy chain hang from her collar when your not walking her, only about 5-6 links long, then remove when she starts walkin satisfactory.. ATB.. Guest jt750
put the collar and lead on without taking it for a walk ..just let her walk around the house/yard with it on so she get used to it ..when you pick the lead up she'll be used to it

Rabby 1
I bribed my bitch forward at first with treats. Didnt take her long to get the idea. Hardly pulled at all then too. Spose they all react differently tho.
collie/grey 238
Don't just put the lead on her and drag her till she walks for christs sake. She needs to learn that the lead on means fun. Make sure she's used to the collar first then put the lead on and encourage her to move forward and follow you with treats or praise as a reward, she will soon realise that the lead means good things. Get her walking on a lead in the house and garden first, then go outdoors.

Collie/greys post is good advice. I once had a pup that was a nightmare to get to walk on the lead I tried everything, then one day like Jigsaws it was ok.
