Hedge_hunter27 18
Managed to get out for 40 minutes ratting last night, waited until around 10 p.m. to try and get some darkness. Only took the two Plummers. There were a few rats running around and probably could have done with another dog but Pointer doesn’t like to go in mob handed . Hopefully should get a few more in the coming weeks . Last nights catch. Got these two out of a rubbish pile next to a stable this evening with my male Plummer. Hedge_hunter27 18
Took the pensioners out tonight for around an hour . Despite another incident with calves trying to escape their pens :11: we managed to get three rats with the dogs, Pointer shot about four but we could only recover two bodies and he shot a rabbit too . pointer 543
Ive been busy making new dog boxes for the mutts for the last few days and have been letting the dogs run around the allotment gardens.Anyway this evening i spotted my insane GWP running around with something in his mouth, this isnt unusual as he really isnt all together there On closer inspection i realized he had hold of a rat and was shaking it like pointers do,with enthusiasm It turned out to be a fairly biggish rat though as ive said it had been stretched by a mad German.Later on we took the terriers out to the wasteland nearby and they found a couple of little uns.
