bisley shooting range

hi every one

went down to bisley for a invite from deker, to shoot some LR ammo just to let you know how it went

charlie was up first

charlie just seems to amaze me lately he hit 4 v bulls @ 200yds which i thought was bloody good , for a first time shooting live rounds

and this is what a v bull looks like from 200yds its about the size of the average mug, this one was mine and my only one. but had some good groupings

these were the rifles we were using, now let me get this right a 308,243,223,22lr,17hmr. i think thats right

it was a good day out ,and would like to thank deker and friends for the time i spent in there company. i also met mr logic and it was good to put a face to the name, a nice lad thanks tom.

sounds like you had a good day davy [bANNED TEXT], used to work down bisley on a sunday marking and patching, while i was doing my basic training for the army.

hi 'redeye jedi'

yes i did the same when i was in the army cadets, and in return they let us have a go on the range too. mind you it was over 30years a go then ,we used paste and a brush to stick em on.

lol they still using paste and brushes now. if it aint broke......... ;)

Good to see you guys again and hope you enjoyed the day :clapper::victory: ...

 

............600 yards next month :hmm::hmm: ...bit of a stretch for the rimfires but all the centrefires can still do the business on the range at this distance.....

PS... If memory serves me right you guys let go with the .17HMR, .223 and .308 :thumbs:
