Guest EWOK
Got into a two week argument with a fox hounder in one of the forums over here about that, guess somethings are the same everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!! No I do not wish to debate it again thank you. Quote Link to post
Guest Frank
Good bit of shooting mate, but I hate to see foxes shot, such a waste of dog work,Why cant you shooters just blast away at targets not much fun in shooting a fox surely Have no choice mate. When a farmer rings to say he has lambs being taken, i find the rifle the best option. Had lurchers ect years ago, found it harder to get permission, as most farmers who have sheep, over here anyway, dont like to see dogs around the place at lambing time. Frank. Quote Link to post
Guest varmartin
Dont see why a dog should get all the pleasure from tacking a fox!! its very rewarding when you call a fox or just plain see one and shoot it at long range. Well i do realise you got to train a dog first, the problem is the bugger i got cant whistle worth a crap... ha ha. Guest Frank
Frank is it ilegal to lamp with a rifle or shotgun at night over here mate? NO. Its not ileagle to lamp here, as long as you have permission from the land owner and are not shooting off public roads ect, its fine. Theirs a lot of ignorance over here when it comes to lamping at night. Their is no written law over here to say it is ileagle. Common sense comes into a lot of it aswell. I have been lamping for 19 years over here and never came across a problem yet. Frank. Quote Link to post
