I posted a thread about this a couple of months back. it was all over my patch. However the last few weeks has seen very few left and the young coming through seem to be clean. Good job really as I was fed up trying to stop my dog eating rotten coprpses! Although it was good training for him to chase the half affected ones.

Seems to come round every two/three years, I was hoping that the cold snap in Feb might have curbed it but apparently not.

Filthy disease that should never been introduced. A good argument against poisoning and other "modern" methods of pest control.

I wonder whether the Antis are advocating mixy rather than hunting?!

Swampy

Ninging without pig flu

of course they are mate, they arent interested in cruelty, just poeple having a good time killing stuff, as they would put it, they dont understand it and never will and on most anti sites you will find the quote or something similar to, myxamatosis still accounts for a large amount of rabbit fatalities so there is no need for hunting them.

f*****g piss take.

If thats true then it shows how bloody ignorant they can be.

Mmmmmm lets think now. A relatively painless 2 sec death versus a horrendously debilitating 2 week death???

Its a "No brainer"

Says it all really

I seen a good few dosed up with it pretty bad by us when we had the real cold weather. They were f*cked, real lethargic and crawling with fleas.

Introducing that disease was a mistake.

As for the anti's preferring the mixy over a dog lol, it just goes to show that they aren't interested in the well fair of the animal, only interested in being a part of something where they can get on their high horse and babble all their biased bullshit just to be part of something.
