As I've said on another thread, one of our permissions has seen a dramatic reduction of rabbit numbers, but we've not seen any there. :no:

 

Much as I'd like to think our control is that effective, it's not...

wit regards killing every infected rabbit i see

 

i dont kill them all. if its very bad and therefore unlikely to survive then its quickly dispatched. but there is no real way of telling weither or not it will survive. alot of farmers i know ask people NOT to kill them but leave them to spread it around. they want very rabbit dead and the more that get it the better in there eyes!

If i see then i put them out there misery but i try to go lamping every three weeks round my difernt permissions and i shoot a few with bald patches or scabs round there eyes so it would appear the majority get over myxi

were i am there are no rabbits whatsoever now. well maby the odd 1 or two around.. this mixy dooin my head in.

 

if my dog catches one and eats it, will it harm the dog or not??

plenty starting here i was having trouble moving them off the horse feilds but there very sick with mixy now,last coulpe of days the dogs have bought back a dozen or more there all over woblinga a terrible shame,i dom leave as many as possible to strugle through if dogs dont get um.
