shotgun cartridges, .22 amunition

Recommended Posts

Ideally all ammo should be locked up, but shotgun stuff can legally be unsecured out of sight, in a wardrobe say. Depends if you have kids about etc

Now ammo for a .22RF is firearm stuff, and MUST be locked in a cabinet, to which only the FAC holder has access. An inbuilt lockable compartment inside the gun cabinet is good, or a separate approved box of some sort has to be obtained.

Thanks for that mate iv just applied for my shot gun and .22 cert and i just wanted to have the right answers for the fire arms officer feller if he was to ask

Many Thanks Steve

Obvious care need to be taken when buying a cabinet.

A shotgun cabinet is unlikely to be suitable for a rifle and ammunition, but the appropriate rifle cabinet is likely to be fine for a shotgun!

If you need one let me know and I'll let you have best price.....
