Agreed: it would be a bloody shame if she picked up some infection just days before whelping and you lost the lot!

i was home and thats in the back of the childrens play area that backs on to fields

the dog started digging and she kept jumping in

i was doin some tree surgery for a woman who had a springer and a jack they where just romeing round with us we was cutting some logs for a while and we could see the springer barking just lookin at the hedge row took a walk over and cud just see the tail waging off the jack bitch had to dig her out was funny but if hadnt of been there she may of died with the pups

 

next morning we came back and she had 7pups
