SportingShooter 0
Don't jump to any conclusions, Foxhunter hasn't said a word about the cubs yet. Quote Link to post
David 9
The field we shot the fox's in where full of lambs, lamb's where running everywhere spooked, making plenty of noise so when we stuck the lamp on we had 2 fox's running about, it dont look good for a sheep farmer to be seing this sort of thing beside his house when he's got you on there to do the job as for the cub's it doe's sicking me but it's vermin control Quote Link to post

Just for the record I've had to shot foxes just recently which were killing lambs, but I made the effort to go and do the right thing for the cubs. You can make matters worse for sheep farmers by going out shooting foxes willy nilly just because you see them on a farm. With only one parent to feed the cubs they will look for the closest meal which is sometimes the farmers lambs. JMO Quote Link to post
FOXHUNTER 5,021
A few points to note here. These foxes were travelling from a neighbouring farm which I dont have access to. I dont have terriers and if I did it would be breaking the law as terriers cant be used for the protection of lambs only gamebirds. No gamebirds to protect on this land. When people control rabbits or rats at this time of year do they bother to search for the young and dispatch them ??????? I dont think so !!!!!!! Quote Link to post
