blackdogs no 1 24
Thanks for that Grant. Some people are never contented. I think that most people from the shows enjoy seeing photos of their dogs as a lot of them dont have any good pics of them. I have met a lot of friends through printing pics of and taking it to shows for them. What a few folk don't realise is that most of these wee shows depend on the revenue from them in order to stay afloat. Hunts especially. At my show which i run for our local Fife foxhounds, we use the profit for the hounds. I.E. we buy hound meal or we buy building materials to keep the kennels looking good. We try and encourage anyone with or without a working dog to attend as its good P.R. for us and the more people that go mean the more money we make. Over the years, quite a few people that have attended our shows have started to follow the hounds and enjoy seeing them do what they are bred to do. I always take a raffle prize along to any show that i attend and in return a lot of these people come to my show and return the favour. In this day and age we must stick together if we wish to continue with our sport. mate am the boy wae the black dog if u could print me some pics off all pay u well for them pm me

k9delboy 138
Thanks for replies guys. It would apear that the photos will continue to grow from strength to strength. I will print off a load for Neilston. If you see me, then come an introduce yourself. I do not want paid for them but i'm sure that the show guys would appreciate a raffle prize as a small token of gratitude. If you forget to bring a bottle or summat then buy a wad of tickets. This way, you folk get your photos and the organiser make a few bucks for their club. In this day we have to all learn to stick together to ensure the future of our sport. Remember too, a dog might not be a show stopper to one but to another it is his/hers wee bairn and these people enjoy to see their wee mutt on canvas as well as the trophy hunters. ROLL ON NEILSTON, FIFERS WILL BE THERE TO SUPPORT YOU, Del.

Foxgun Tom 75
Most judges lurcher and terriermen, are bound to know each other especially if they've been at the game for a long number of years, that's by no-means a bad thing!! Stevie D 9
there was a few terriers that didnt get placed that i thought should off , but i noticed the judes from shows the other week seemed to know judges from saturday I judged the russells at Kirkcaldy the week before this show.I know both judges from this show. I won best russell dog and best russell bitch at this show 2 years ago. The same two terriers didn't get placed this year. I had a great day and didn't give the places a second thought. It's a day out. Stevie
