mites or lice on ferret

i ordered a frontline spray from ebay america and sprayed it on my hands with rubber gloves on and massaged it into the ferrets and it really was like magic i went to check on the ferrets a couple of hours later and everything was gone totally no sign of the mites? think it was about £20 for the bottle and have been told you can get it from a vets but you have to ask for it. really is amazing stuff though and well worth the £20.

interesting about frontline not being suitable for cats - my vet used to give me a large dog vial to split between 3 cats - used it on dogs and cats for 10 years no probs but never used on the ferts.

 

noticed bob martin - 'spot on' - similar/same name completely different shit - dog stuff is a strict no no on pussies

 

is this where the confusion lies?

ps - is dog 'tea tree' flea shampoo ok on the ferts then??

I have never used the frontline spot on , always used the spray & never had anything but good results on whatever species i have used it on cat dog or ferret , i think when you have several animals to do its far more cost effective than the spot on

ive used frontline on mine but just dont give the one ferret a full dose give him half then half to another ,,,i also use tea tree oil it works wonders for everything ,,jas
