Guest ESS Posted May 1, 2009 Report Share Posted May 1, 2009 the pups are a day old? the pups need there mothers milk if the bitch can be aggressive reject her pups is it her first litter,As for rejection the bitch if aggressive muzzle her ..the pups need colostum though 24 hrs may be a bit to late ..is this your bitch?or is it a mates? if it s yours get the pups on her milk and she needs to feed them.. if the bitch is not yours you are stuck with feeding every 3 hrs warmth is required hot water bottle under blanket or heat lamp.after feeding rub there stomach and backs to stimulate peeing .. Ask yourself have you the time and inclanation to this or contact a vet or rspca and give them to them .. And this is second post like this on here have a look on gundog thread no the pups are not mine they belong to a neighbour he was going to drowned them my wife said she would try help them as said above muzzle the mother while the pups feed from her your neighbour seems a right when breeding a dog you take on the responsibility the care for the bitch and her pups so if you can muzzle the bitch for for a week or so and give the pups a good start and tell your nieghbour to get his bitch spayed good on you for taking the time to try and save the pups . ..john Quote Link to post Share on other sites
