moocher 0
It would be nice to see a few pictures in the fishing forum, so I thought I would start the ball rolling. The only thing all these captures have in common is, I caught them all using a big worm as bait. No freebies, no groundbait, just creeping around pools and gravel pits stalking, or trundling a bunch of worms down the river. The bait Caught these two last November Incidently, had a nice Tench last week on worm, pics still on camera though. This is a great time of year for a big Tench if you fancy one. This one fell to a worm a couple of weeks ago, just before it got hot and they all started spawning and aimlessly cruising the surface. So did this one Sometimes we fish the canals for big carp, we have had some beauties. No bite alarms, just stalking and float fishing with centrepins. I will post some pics of canal fish another time. The problem with some areas of canal are the thieving b*****ds that are usually to be found down there. Here is one of our tackle guardians. He is actually as soft as shit, it's the way he looks at the dickheads that keeps them away. He belongs to a mate of mine, he wants to teach him to take Chav's on the lamp Well I am looking forward to Friday when the river season starts again. Can't wait to get a bit more of this in. This is Barbel fishing the Teme in flood. Incidently I was hungover at the time. The Pub that controls the stretch invited me for a lock in A good night was had by all. My mates were a bit  in the morning though. They reckoned it was the scratchings It couldn't possibly of been the 9 / 10 pints they necked  I hoped to open up doing a bit of Chub chasing, problem is my leg has for some reason swollen up and I can barely put my foot to the floor. :realmad: Hope all this crap the Doc has given me kicks in soon and sorts me out. Otherwise I doubt I will make opening weekend. It's a pain in the arse (and leg) as I really fancied a bit of sport with a few of these. Anyway, all caught on worms........always worth having some in your bag. They must be amongst the best stalking baits out. Regards Moocher Quote Link to post
