Tiff 36
if you have the money for them they are okay, but no way am I spending that type of money when I can use my fingers and a tight flea comb to basically do the same thing. but then I am super cheap about things Edited May 1, 2009 by His Wife Quote Link to post

shelley 0
I have and use a furminator... but not for stripping the topcoat. Strip the topcoat by hand or with your stripping knife if you must... the furminator is used to rake out loads of soft undercoat. I have terriers that have light or moderate undercoat and don't need much raking.... but I have some rough coats with mountains and mountains of undercoat.... I personally like the furminator with them.... after I have stripped them down a weekly raking with the furminator helps the harsh top coat come in nice and tight. At least that has been my experience. There are fine tooth stripping knives that will do the same job however. Quote Link to post
