What time of day?

Hi all

Just wondering what time of day do you think is the best time to go out?

Too early and they could be still out feeding or does it not matter?

Be interested to know all your prefeered times.

I like to get out early, about 8ish. The way I look at it, if a ferret does go walkies at some point, you've got plenty of daylight to search for it.

If its a big day or a fair bit away we leave early 6amish to get a goot start and a full day in ,round about the door 8/9 am

I enjoy gettin out at early doors just as it becomes light and make a full day out of it

Depending on how far I have to travel, I like to get there for about 8, pack up at 1 or 2, gives me time to sort out a big dig if I have to.

were ever i go im there before it gets light coffee and to itthe earler you go the better i think one thing i have noticed is you can see the rabbits going in the holes that time ok day

I dont think it really matters. They say rabbits are quicker to bolt in early morning because they are still fresh from a nights feeding. But now I got a bit older, I go when it suits me, mid morning or early afternoon, and the rabbits still bolt much the same. I know its a great feeling being about at the crack of dawn but it isnt strictly necessary, go when you can.

First light mate, the sooner your out, the sooner your home, and any lay ups or probs. etc you've got the rest of the day to sort it. HTH. Cheers, D.

i go pretty early mate round about 8 you know when your up and that get ready set off about half 8 :thumps:

You should be out and set up at about 9

we are lucky in most of our permission is within about 30 min drive

so we try and get there between about 8 and 9ish gives you time to

sort out and probs lay ups etc

i usually get out for about early afternoon. I dont think it really makes any difference [bANNED TEXT] time you go out.It's handy ealrier than later in case u gotta dog a ferret out. Boy...them rabbit holes are deep sometimes!
