the land is open ground but the rabbits are on the fairly steep hills, the burrows are under wind bushes (dont know what you call them in england) and I'll be experimenting between running them in the day and and lamping, I'll stick with whatever works best.

W&I thats a wee bit too far for me :clapper: Wind bushes?you mean famine trees ;) For rough hilly ground I'd be inclined to cosider a colliex or a deerhound type dog for good feet and stamina.With the right parents they could be awesome workers.
