Corky(amateur) 0
hi all had a litter last year, all went well this time not so. one of my jills have given birth to 2 kits. this seems ridiculously small. she had these this morning and i was expecting to come home to find another 4 or 5. what should i do, as to be honest, my vets are a rip off, so it is still an option but anybody got any other info of use. is this normal? cheers corky Quote Link to post

The one 8,483
Usually younger jills have bigger litters as they get older the numbers come down just because she's got only two kitts doesn't mean there not healthy Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
From experience i know sometimes they can have one or two & everythings ok, but if theres a dead on inside the jill she wont bring it with out a shot of oxytocin , this happened to my old jill 2 yrs ago If you think theres some more inside her then act on your gut reaction, i did & it no doubt saved the jills life Quote Link to post
