Guest buster321c
Just copied this from another Airgun site. WARNING TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE AIR GUN COMMUNITY A website has sprung up offering excellent deals on new AA rifles/products delivered in the local area and sent via the RFD network for further afield deals. We have reason to believe that this site has been set up by a long standing scammer (rixsta/ricky1 etc) who surfaces through the forums every now and then. The old favourite was selling stuff he didn't have and never sending it, or having stuff sent to him on trust and never paying. It would appear that the airgun community has got wiser, and newbies are educated fairly quickly so our scamming friend has had to find new ways to cheat people out of their money. Ask yourself how many businesses are run from a free web provider? To sell airguns you must be an RFD but there is no mention of an RFD number or business address on the site. AirArms have no knowledge of this trader and do not supply him with stock. I would strongly advise all of our members to steer clear of any dealings with the site and to warn friends likewise. If you do feel brave enough to attempt a deal than cash on delivery is the only way I would attempt any deal. Just passing on the message You have been warned . http://airgunsmith.webs.com/ This is the site . Safe Shooting , Buster Edited April 30, 2009 by buster321c Quote Link to post

Guest buster321c
Has anyone actually had any dealings with this outfit? Speculation is no good thing.... Cheers. Im sure if you look round other airgun sites you will hear of this guy . He lives not 15 miles from me , and many times ive offered to go round and `collect ` peoples money , or guns/thing they`ve sold him . There is a warning on one of the sites all about him and how he has recently taken somebody for £1200 . It makes no odds to me , send him your gun if you want it serviced , but like i said in the first post . You have been warned . Quote Link to post

"We can arrange to meet or send to your RFD (local gun shop) or if I have 10-15 people in say for instance manchester I will drive up and deliver them for the price of post, which is not a problem as I have done this a lot of time's.This way we can all meet at a pacific Gun shop and make sure every one is happy with there purchase." ha ha ha, asif, why would you drive down to meet someone outside a gunshop when you could just as well post it there and if you dont like you just send it back this guys got just about enough sence to be on the aprentice!!!! ? Its just a warning to people , if you have a grievance with somebody on here take it up with them or infor a Mod . Or even start your own thread on the subject . If the guy's got that kind of form then f**k him right off. It's just I know how sour grapes can be very damaging, but if that's his m.o. I hope he gets all that's coming to him. No time for skanking b*****ds like them. Cheers. Quote Link to post

Portland_Jon 0
Thanks for bringing this matter to my attention. As the owner of the RFD Network I would like to point out that we have absolutely no connection to this company in any way. I will add something to the website now to warn others. Thanks again Jon Quote Link to post
