Guest david craig
yea.....i was quivertipping for pike.....it was with a carp rod though cos a pike would snap even a heavy feeder ron...the reason i was quivertipping is the water was a bit too fast to use bite alarms and also they didnt pick up the bites....so not as daft as it sounds...ya shud try it mate...its really exiting cos ya see the rod take a little bump...nd then it nearly flies in so ya hav got to catch it quickly lol Quote Link to post

Guest Glenn Kilpatrick
Hi I saw the guy mentioned Sandsend cliffs there and thought he might be interested in looking at this taken by whitby fishing club member Bernard Vasey This one may also be interesting as it shows one of those places you mention you climb down on a rope. To be honest most places you fish by the sea in the north east require miles of walking or climbing down cliffs, although the place you mention could be one of many. Filey brigg, HAwsker, Robin hoods bay, Golsbrough and many others all have ropes. We must be mad. Lots more picture if your interested in my whitby sea anglers fishing blog. Kind regards - Glenn Quote Link to post
