south coast, catch reports, sea fishing

Anyone cathcing much down south as I have tried for bass a couple of times and had no joy yet.

 

I have had pollack upto 11lb and cod around 9lb whilst out wreck fishing a couple of weeks ago but have had nothing from sure yet.

Earliest i have caught Mackeral from Berry Head Brixham is May 11th and it was very warm weather at the time.

Was thinking about going down the weekend of May 16th but

I think im going to wait until June and shoot off with the kids down to Dartmouth and fish off the sand beach so they can have a play at the same time.

yeah i had 7 mackeral down berry head last night.. not a bad size either

couple more weeks they should be ripping them in

I am just east of brighton, went out with the lure rod again today at high tied and spent a couple of hours fishing over a rocky area with nothing showing.

 

I think ill give it a few more weeks!!!!!!!
