Guest jt750 Posted April 30, 2009 Report Share Posted April 30, 2009 Foxes usually have bones outside the holes badger setts usually have a large spoil heaps outside the setts from where they've been tunneling and dragging clean bedding in . Foxes usually smell pretty badly and the area around the entrances smell. Badgers will dig a midden for them to use close to the entrance. I've seen fox badger and rabbit all live in the same sett ...One close to me often has cubs in this time of year and badger has kitts in the same sett ..grumbling respect no doubt. After '73 a lot of terrier men gave up because of the badger population explosion and them living in close quarters Quote Link to post
