Unless you have quite a lot of spare cash or money to invest £8,000 plus, then I would not bother, on top of this I find I am also having to provide these services.....

1, Councilling, due to distress from pests in the home

2. Government speaker due to relaying the various regulations..

3. Speaker from the national virus register, informing on the many viruses available from various critters.

4. Pesticide company representitive informing on the safety of product to be used.

5. Marriage councillor, after the hubby has let the problem get out of hand, and doesn't want to pay for the work

Along with.....

6. Student, I spend at least 2hrs a day reading about equipment and various red tape associated with the ever changing pest control industry

5. Accountant

6. filing clerk

7. storeman.

8. Telephone advice line adviser

9. Purchasing clerk

10. A joist walking, Loft Dweller, hopefully never a ceiling plasterer....

11. And last but not least general dogs body driving round all day to keep the appointments on time

Most people think its all, roaming fields checking the trap line and fast easy money.....

ITS NOT

marriage counciler ? counciling over pests ? the work load is a bit slower but ticking by it also depends if yu take 1 line of work ie rabbit/mole controller you will be checking traps most of the day i have a job on where i check the traps twice aday 34 traps x 2 68 traps aday and still have time for fleas/c,roaches /moth/ants/ as the work falls throu the door .also the wasp season is almost on top of us and you can get very busy i all ways employ another chap for this at this time of year . so the work has slowed up a bit but not much .

equipment is the main problem starting out trying to get it all together traps for rats/mice/moles/squirriels/rabbits/fox.

then your sprayers van ladders etc chemicals courses .ATB.noel

:clapper::clapper: Born Hunter, if collecting b jobs of old pensioners with flea problems is your thing then yes....... you dirty Bugger :victory::laugh::laugh:

On a serious note, I have a job on a small holding with rats and mice, and the property is a timber framed wooden building, I am getting very good results although on yesterdays visit, a dead mouse with its legs chewed off was half hanging out of the ceiling, above the main bedroom, :o it had obviously been eaten by the rats and got lodged there above the marital bed  there was a polythene sheet hanging above the ceiling, the lady of the house was not prepared to spend the night in the bed with her husband, I had to calm her down and re assure her that it would be sorted out as the husband had been trying to gain control for years ;)

I have seen many cases like this, where the women are very upset about the rats in there houses and the men dont give a fug :shok::(

So born hunter, I know where full PPE on those jobs, you wouldnt want to pick anything up ;):D:victory::whistling:
