fab pics!!! great to see them aint it , even better when you get them on camera

Yeah too right, I've seen them from a distance before, or a fleeting glance, but never this close, let alone 50yds from my house, and for that long... I'm chuffed to nuts, I'm hoping he'll be back for my husband and kiddies to see too :)

Very nice where you close to him

Yes reasonably, I'm a bit rubbish at judging distances... but I'd guess that was no more than 30 yds away... The horse was blocking us from his view first off, so we didn't startle him, he was looking straight at us several times, but seemed relatively unfazed.

Nice........i will stick my neck out ans guess at 2 years old at the most. Possibly even as little as a year if the grazing is good.....

Nice pic......JD

Thanks for that, we are surrounded by lush grass and cereal farmland so its a possibility... Also, I'd been wondering how my field mineral lick for the horses has been going so fast.... he may have topped up on that too  It a cereal and mollases block added vits and mins, I'm guessing after what martin said about the putting out molasses covered carrots, he'd have found that quite tasy too!
