bosco 3 Posted April 28, 2009 Report Share Posted April 28, 2009 was wondering whats people's recommended diet / best diet for a working lurcher . i feed mine on dog mince mixed with just a regular dried meal what do people think of that for a diet are they getting enough protein and vitamins etc? You could add some veg, i pref cooked but others use raw, to give a little variety of vits etc. Variety of ingredients will give variety of nutrients. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
lurcher lass 9 Posted April 28, 2009 Report Share Posted April 28, 2009 hi i feed mine on james wellbeloved complete dried meal with raw minced chicken/lamb/duck/rabbit with raw egg and garlic ad seaweed supplements with added cod liver oil then any table scraps that aren't poisonous i.e onions tomatoes etc and once a week they get goat milk added all the best lurcher lass x x Quote Link to post Share on other sites

bosco 3 Posted April 28, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 28, 2009 cheers for the replies some different stuff going to try a new diet do yous mince the chicken yourselves. thats some diet you have the dogs on lurcher lass u give them much cod liver oil tripe is good stuff friend of mine works in a dog food factory now and again he get me it . there other food in the place has to much protein and gives the dog the runs not nice when cleanin the yard lol :sick: Quote Link to post Share on other sites
