stubby 175
about 9yrs ago, after my divorce, I was a single dad raising 2 young sons, anyway I aqquired a 1yr old english bull terrier, by the name of jess, she had the ear tattoo for ownership, transferred all over to my name, about 18 months later the boys were settled at school, and not being the type to sit on my arse, wanted to go to college and learn some construction skills, and realised it wouldent be fair leaving jess on her own all day, so put her up for sale, a guy came and bought her, told him about the £10 cost of reregestering the ear tattoo, now 9yrs later battersea dogs home sent me a letter, to my old address, that my son lives at, saying "they had my dog" my son went up there, and after they spoke to me on the phone, he took her home, seemed she had a few battle scars from previous owners, the dogs home had removed a few lumps from her, and she had the start of artheritas in her knees, anyway my sons missus is expecting my 4th grandchild and was suffering with asthma, so the doctors said it was due to the dogs, and they should rehome them, they also had two staffs, anyway he phoned yesterday, and my missus "wasp" has always had a love of english bulls, so she's back with us, after a 9yr absence, seems ok with the two JRT's so were she how she goes, do remember someone posting that they used their bull terrier for ratting

stubby 175
nice one mate how did the dog home get hold of her do you know no idea, but would imagine she's had a few different owners, and used as a status symbol, has a few battle scars, plus the dogs home removed a few tumours from her neck and back, but dont know what type, Ill be getting in touch with them to find out more, its just crazy that she wasent re registered on the ear tattoo, but lucky for her, as she'll have a home for life now, she's also on medication every 3 days for the bad knee's, but she is a really lovely dog, not a bad streak in her, once we'd given her a bath her coat looks great, am sure she'll get spoiled rotten, when I first had her (remember I was single) she'd sleep with me on the bed, she'd get under the duvet and lay her head on the pillow, although she now has a bed in the kitchen, my missus has already said (as I work nights) to not be surprised if she nicks my spot
