jamie h 0
hi over the last couple of months my border terrier has started 2 show real interest in foxes. flushing 1 twice from the back of a old allotment shed 1 from under a thick holly bush and been dropping into fox sets. bolting 1 and another that was on a footpath that before it broke i managed 2 get her away from as also me borderlake went down as well and could of turned into a nightmare.plus there was people out walking. hoping 2 find a set on the land i shoot. then give her a real good go. shes just turned 3 before showing any real interest in going 2 ground. couple of pics last pic was yesterday morning on my cousins farm and were he shoots but didnt seem 2 be anything at home. jamie h 0
i wouldnt say that i got her for this type of work she has just been a bushing dog thats flushed some from cover but has started 2 go into earths and seems 2 have got a taste for it.. be nice just 2 get 1 bolted and take it with the shotgun. but defo seen a change in her over the last couple months. shes defo not a hard dog but has bottle and is very clever. will see how things plan out over the coming months. hopefully i will be able 2 get 1 bolted and shot with her and a post up.. collor probley is a must as shes going 2 end up getting lost. cheers jamie.
