Rabbithunter 456
Yesterday I went up to see DEL, from the site. And shown him some tips to shape wires up and tension them. We set probably about 15- 20 snares. Some nice runs in a field we couldnt get in because of horses. We set fence, peg & a couple of hoops. I set a peg for him close to a gate, you could see the run going upto the gate, and a beat either side of the gate. A nice run cut the corner of a field which we put a few fence snares around the area. He contacted me this morning. He said he set a few more later on. In total he snared 8 rabbits and 2 hares (the snares were not placed for Hare's) It was a windy night up here although hot, and the snares were spread out fairly far. The crows had beat him to one rabbit, a badger took another. A fence wire i set had taken a rabbit but again, from what he said to me I think the badger has took it. The peg wire i had by the gate caught one and the rest was his work Well done DEL Quote Link to post
