i went 2 show today wat a load of rubbish the n.l.r.c want to look after the terrier people not just grab there money of them

they had 2 judges 1 doing dogs other doing bitches of the same breed at the same time so most missed there classes 1 man was told he cud show a 8 week old puppy in both bitch class and pups if that aint money grabbing dont know what is . another man showed same dog in 3 classes winning 2times and a 2nd . in the finnal the judges didnmt even go over the dogs not even the ones they didnt judge . so lurcher people take note terrier people are not second class we pay our money just same as lurchers do. If it wasnt for the excerlent company of the terrier people we wer with we would of left after 1st class

wasnt that many people there this year , we left after the 1st lurcher class , so cant comment on the terrier side of things , but i know the lad who runs it and was on the phone to him earlier in the day before i got there and he was let down by certain judges ect he mentioned or something , maybe it will be better next year , still bumped into a few people i know though . must say it was better the previous 2 years it was run .

we were there today, first time at this show, it was ok but wouldn't put it on favourites list more to do with location rather than the running. Judging was a bit slap dash in both lurchers and terriers. Watched one class of lurchers two excellent dogs were beaten by one with a limp, hey hoe thats the way it goes though. Terriers saw some belting terriers that obviously worked their bollocks off get beaten by some some very poor show ponies that were groomed to the point of making them look laughable ( ridiculous beards ). one judge in the terriers didn't even look at them move or see if they were spanable or check the bite in half the class. but it was still a nice day out coz at the end of the day thats what it is a day out and abit of craic with like minded people.

Very very poor,what a waste of diesel.The Terrier schedule was a joke really.Come on show organisers get good stewards to run these rings,not some gormless numpty with a clipboard.

Do these organisers tell the judges and stewards what is expected of them before they go in the ring or do they just round them up from the local.

was some strange goings on today at the lurcher ring.people judging/stewarding then showing,how many judges were there?then again it's the n.l.r.c so it's to be expected,feckin mad.other than that i thought it was alright,been to worse anyway.i did win a class or two so mines a biased opinion ha ha

I went too judge a show today and never take any dog as I feel the entrants may think you have a bias towards that type.

 

I Referee'd local football though for 15 years and as I know 11 players love you and 11 don't but the ultimate result is the draw as they can all hate you then??

 

We sometimes forget that without the Judge/Referee we have no contest..

wasnt that bad,my bitch made second in the 23" under 26" smooth class, didnt see much of the terriers but still a good day out.

well i will speak for all the lads who work there dogs they not bothered about 1st 2nd 3rd looks dont catch rabbits ok the judges may have been poor but its not crufts it was hartlepool come on guys ease up its a day out for a bit of crack
