Kay 3,709 Posted April 26, 2009 Report Share Posted April 26, 2009 Well taking on a ferret or two is a big commitment, they can live into double figures out living some breeds of dog , theres tons you need to read up on & ask questions about, seasons etc, correct species appropriate diet , that type of thing I would use the rest of this year to do your homework & think about 12 months time to get any ferrets done alllll the research, wanted one since i was 5 .. so yeah. just need parents to say yer. lol. Show your mother you have done your reading up etc & find someone with ferrets to come round to the house & show her how nice they are Although i have kept ferrets for donkeys yrs , if my son said he wanted one of his own i would say no untill he could proove to m he will look after the one hre, if he wasnt interested in the ferret here first then i would tell him a big no, as it would be summat else for me to look after Quote Link to post
