i have a lurcher,whippetxbedlingtonxsalukixgreyhound, 15 months old. i started lamoing him at xmass just an odd slip at first then more and more by march he mas catching between four and six out ten on average which i was happy with,for a young dog. But since the lamping finished he only gets the odd chase in the evening when the terriers bolt them from cover but he hasn't managed to nab one. in fact he's missed them all. he seems to be just unlucky cos he runs them well. Has the fact that he only ran them at night effectd him or is he just the unluckiest lurcher in ireland?

 

could you put a pic up of your lurcher as i have one but ive never seen one of the same breeding apart from mine

what age is your lurcher? the lad i bought mine off brought them over from england. i still have his number i could get more info if you wanted.

No, not true. The whippet(I have one) will shiver and bellyache about the cold, so when arabbit bolts, it wont be ready. A good collie cross, beardie cross ect will be on the job all the time.
