barrel loose

the full barrel moderator on my ligtning is loose and i think this causingme too spray pellets over a 3 inch square. it is only thery sligtly loose as if you try and twistit it moves a little bit. any advice on what i can do?

There should be a small alan headed retaining screw where it tapers towards the gun.

Make sure it's not come lose.

Don't over-tighten it, or it'll round off. Just nip it up.

Are you sure it's the moderator that's come lose?

I've just checked the fitting on my Lightning, and even with the grub screw removed, there's feck-all movement.

Are you sure the barrel's not gone slack in the jaws?

Take the mod off, then try to move the barrel. May be a trip to the gunsmiths!

Also make sure the mod's fitted as far down the barrel as it'll go, if it's close to the end, that could cause it to wobble.

Check the stock screws too. Sometimes it's not always obvious exactly where a little movement's coming from.
