joedamms 0
hi everyone, i've been given an aya yeoman over and under 12 bore and i was wondering if it there are any good. does any one else have one on here. and what the best choke setup for claypigeon shooting. as you can probally tell i'm rather new to all this shooting malarky Quote Link to post
SportingShooter 0
Cant say I've heard much negative feedback about any AyA TBH Depends on what sort of Clay shooting you are planning on doing as to what choke is "best" to use. If you plan to shoot Skeet or Sporting then I'd suggest 1/4 & 1/4 for the former and 1/4 and 1/2 for the latter. For most Trap disciplines I stick to 1/2 and 5/8 or 1/2 and 3/4. SS Quote Link to post
humperdingle 0
Decent, solid guns. I had a SBS Yeoman and really liked it. I'm more suited to O/Us though, and didn't like the slim woodwork on the game model I had. Quote Link to post
dytkos 17,784
Yeoman is agreat all purpose gun. I've had mine over 30 years! Usual choking is 1/2 and full on a Yeoman. HTH. Cheers, D. Quote Link to post

masmiffy 82
True but I was just gonna hit it with a stick mate Just as well you got open chokes or it would have been in lots of bits Quote Link to post
adymorris 0
I got one - had it about 15 years - had to change the firing pins as someone bodged a repair job but apart from that it shoots well and hits what I aim at Quote Link to post
