What is the minimum ft/lb to kill rabobit @ 35 yards

I agree Catcher , i use a S400 and had a rabbit @ 55yds at the weekend , not chronoed it for at least 8 months ,but it was 11:6 last time i did . And even at 9lbs i would be supprised if it did`nt kill at 30 yds .

i would go for 245 ft/lbs every time :yes:

 

.17HMR 150yards range and still hits at over 100 ft/lbs

well if ur trying to make yourself look big in the airgun section with your 17hmr thats all very well but it looks like a gat gun compared with my 300 win mag .

Not sure if i can take it back to a shop as i bought it from a member on here in good faith and was a decent fella, and the gun has been treated well and is in fantastic condition.

i got 2 s400 mate dont like any of them read about them for over 6 months and got them now i wish i never did want to sell them

 

they say they are cheap air guns well at 400 quid i dont think so air arms need to sort this out lots of people have trouble with them.

hey matey your right its no good for rabit shooting tryed it and the rabit looked like it had bin thru a paper shreder what was left anyway. as for amo i get mine abit cheaper .but i think you lookin around 15 quid for a cheap box . happy hunting mate ps i have nothing agains 17hmr hw do a brillient 1 i love useing it.

I haven't heard of many problems with them either. A few have been down on power, but that's usually easily sorted out by the dealer. :hmm:

hi there bud i would either get it to a shop or contact AA and see what they have to say and contact the guy on here that you bought it off to see if he still has the receipt

 

 

my RFD said to me the other day that a lot of guns are being sent out underpower from many manufacturer's
