webby 31 Posted April 21, 2009 Report Share Posted April 21, 2009 Just wanted to know what pistols are avable to buy on an FAC and any details. the most i know up to now is that .22 rimfire single shot pistols are avaible. any info would be good i.e. how many rounds can be loaded in a mag if any, and where i can buy one. cheers Quote Link to post

I tryed to reaply for one this year on the understanding that it was for humane dispatch of cage traped fox snared fox and hunting under the exemption, and yes i have already had one .22 .32 for terrier work but was cheated out of it by local police ie if i want this rifle have to give up pistol as not using it at moment!! very nieve i no but thats my problem and i am trying to rectify. The point is no mater how well i worded my aplication they would not have it they called it ASSASINS WEOPON no not a joke and then went on to resite basc recomendations of shotgun for fox bla bla bla,could you say for what and how YOU got pistol on fac please ps i was looking at getting the derringer 410 2 shot Quote Link to post

After i parted company with her over 2 years ago i met a new lass and we moved in to a farm house 3 months ago which gives me access to about 7000 acres for pest control with my 2 terriers, 1 lurcher and one cocker so a pistol is easier to handle especially as most of it is walked and the land rover is a good distance away.
