You dont have to cover all the ground in one day.Walk the dogs.Or take up golfing. That way you can cover all the ground in your golf buggie.catcher Quote Link to post

TOMO 26,004
what is it about hunters , and in particular lurcher lads that feel the need to attack a particular style of hunting. lampers against daytime men , and now you guys having a go at people that drive the land. its pointless, and why oh why does evryone think there way is the best. talk about ego's. personly i like to walk, and on most of my land its only way to do it. BUT . i do have a large estate and belive me driving in the truck is the way to do it its very open land with headland round all the fields , and lots of it left to stubble. now let me dissmiss 2 of the points put forward , first the noise, alot of animals on the land will infact tolerate the noise of traffic with out to much fuss, there used to farmers in tractors and jeeps driving round. fittness, well my 2 dogs runn along side the truck in rotation, they do a couple of miles then swap over and keep rotating. so there very fit. live and let live lads, so long as your enjoying your hunting and your dogs , whats it matter how you do it Quote Link to post
