Most people dobn't do it at arms length mind you. birdman6 10 Posted April 21, 2009 Report Share Posted April 21, 2009 when i'm ferreting i usually chin them, it's quick and clean. eg. put one hand round the neck put the palm of your other hand under the chin and push the head back. it can be done while rabbit is still in net. there is no bruising to the meat and no blood from nose or mouth.
