how to kill a rabbit

Depends on your method of getting them in the first place.

 

1. Shooting

2. Breaking their necks ( if this is what you mean ) I shall leave this for another to post as i have not killed a rabbit this way.

Here is something i have just found on youtube. Most people dobn't do it at arms length mind you. Just take rabbits legs in left hand and head in right hand and stretch its neck and pull head back as stretching across right thigh.

also maybe practice on one that has been shot properly first time round to avoid causing a live one any distress while learning. you can hear when you get it right

when i'm ferreting i usually chin them, it's quick and clean. eg. put one hand round the neck put the palm of your other hand under the chin and push the head back. it can be done while rabbit is still in net. there is no bruising to the meat and no blood from nose or mouth.

get back legs, get a hold of its head from the back with the other hand, point its head towards the floor and pull as quick and hard as you can

hold them by there back legs and give a jackie chan choodle chop to the back of the head

get a machette and chase after it and chuck the machette at it then when it stops hack it apart with the machette aim for the head and body but leg shots stop it from moving and possibly coming at you.....

sorry for taking the piss mate when i first started i didnt know really i used a preist and whacked there head at the start try that but after a while youll lose the need and find breaking the neck is easyer.... hold the back legs and around the neck and just strech it apart should hear the neck click a few times
