rob172cup 0 Posted April 21, 2009 Report Share Posted April 21, 2009 My dog is 11 months old and he is good with commands, but this last week or so he just will not listen. All i use him for is a bit of rabbiting and rats at the horses and a few farm buildings. He drops on command but when i want to leave he just wont have any of it and now on walks with all the baby rabbits about all he wants to do is dig and as much as i dont mind its when i want to leave and he is in a load of brambles miles from home and wont frigging come out, thats when its a pain in the arse! All i want is for him to do what i say when i say. My question is is there anything i can do or is it just the terrier in him that wont listen? Is it that he is still a bit young for it all? On sunday night it took me half an hour to get him home as i couldnt get to him whilst he dug out 2 nests for 12 babies, only when he was done would he come but he should bloody come when i say Anyway any help or advice would be good cheers.
