trafford1 0
hi all my bitch give birth to 9 glorious pups ,of which 7 have been sold leaving me with 2 bitches . its a hard choice to let one go because i wish to keep them both . i have had mixed advice on training them , some people are saying you should never train 2 pups in one go reason being one will drag the other down . is this true , i know it will be difficult but i think with patience it can be done. True about time I often keep two see which is better as one at 6 months may be not the best at twelve months,,all depends what time and effort you can put in,,But sometimes you can b lucky and get two nice ones or two shit ones...lol But Quote Link to post
Geoff.C 0
You should be the main attraction to your pup. When there is a litter brother or sister about, they can be very close and amuse each other without your input. This can cause training difficulties, in that they don't like to be separated while training, and if both out, one can distract the other anyway. This bond seems to weaken as they get older, but while it lasts, progress can be a bit slow. Quote Link to post
Dave C 63
Training 2 pups from the same litter can be difficult as there loyaltys are to each other and not to you, like others have said breaking this and creating your bond with each pup can be time consuiming and difficult.
