Air Arms S200 0
Nice shooting there mate and as for a bipod i would probably look at the Harris Swivel Base Bipod, maybe a 9-13". Hope that helps. Quote Link to post
nightstalkeruk 0
Nice Shooting, I have a Harris Bipod on my CZ .22 also had one on the .17 (when i had it) they don't cost that much and you can put them on most of your rifles. I personally go out with one on all the time... there not heavy and there dam handy when you need one. Personally id get one put on JUST THINK >>... laying down in the grass there's a shot BUT your to low down, you lift up on your elbows to see if you have the shoot NO ... wait open the bipod legs extend and what!! ..... clear shot ..... there you go BANG BANG GET ONE gat a HARRIS NS Quote Link to post
conormc 0
What is the difference between the swivel bipod and the fixed? I read something about compensating on uneven ground but didnt really understand, does it swivel as in the rifle can do a full 360 on the bipod or from side to side????? Quote Link to post
nightstalkeruk 0
Conormc, The Harris Bipod on mine, Not sure the Name for it but it moves side to side not a 360˚full swing ... Hope that helps i'm away working at the moment or id put a PIC up for you to take a look at NS Quote Link to post
Air Arms S200 0
Hi mate, with the Swivel you can move your rifle vertical ie. a little left or right so that you can get you'r scope level with what ever you'r aiming at, where as the fixed you cannot. Hope that helps. Quote Link to post
stubby 175
no, it cant turn 360 degree, imagine laying down holding the rifle, a swivel will allow movent from say the 10 o clock postion to 2 o clock, if you drew a straight line down, from top of rifle to bottom a fixed bipod, imaging again, laying down, aiming and your slightly out of line with the target, you adjust postion, one leg of the bipod would raise off the floor, bit hard to explain, someone else may explain in better Quote Link to post

elvolcan 0
Thanks lads, im gonna go for the 9-13 swivel. Next mission finding somewhere to purchase it outside the rip-off republic. Harris Engineering Swivel Base 9-13" Type S Bipod from http://www.airgunbuyer.com/ at the bottom of their special offer page. £72.95 Brand New Bargain Edited April 22, 2009 by elvolcan Quote Link to post
cyclonebri1 8
I found the 9-13 to be far too short, much happier with the 2nd one I bought that extends to I think 28". Still not too heavy and allows a tall bloke to take a sitting shot in comfort. Swivel is a must unless you like pissing about adjusting for level Quote Link to post
elvolcan 0
Yes you Need swivel, unless you only use the bipod off a bench/solid level platform Quote Link to post
a1b1e 0
harris swivel every time. but next time send me the 3 euros and i will send you some targets nice shooting Quote Link to post
cyclonebri1 8
Anyone else use the longest bipod? I didn't find the shorter ones much use, especially in a wet boggy field. Sitting on my unhooking mat with the bipod fully extended gives best results for me Edited May 4, 2009 by cyclonebri1 Quote Link to post
