mattyg 1,862 Posted April 22, 2009 Report Share Posted April 22, 2009 as far as i know mate you wont ctach much with abarn owl...their natural diet is small voles and mice and shrews, so not really a hunting bird. from what ive learnt form my pals who keep and breed birds of prey , they make bad pets and are better off in the wild....much nicer to see a barn owl skimming the fields on a summers eve than couped up in an aviary.....not having a dig or anything just thought i would inform you....maybe the proper bird lads on here can shoot me down or back me up......lol best of luck finding em good permenant homes! cheers, matt Link to post Share on other sites
