as far as i know mate you wont ctach much with abarn owl...their natural diet is small voles and mice and shrews, so not really a hunting bird. from what ive learnt form my pals who keep and breed birds of prey , they make bad pets and are better off in the wild....much nicer to see a barn owl skimming the fields on a summers eve than couped up in an aviary.....not having a dig or anything just thought i would inform you....maybe the proper bird lads on here can shoot me down or back me up......lol

best of luck finding em good permenant homes!
