jonesy 111
Let a dog on a lead have a bit sniff round the holes, dug some cubs thursday ,gone not a nice thing but if i didnt do it i know the keeper would give my permission to someone else. Quote Link to post
kingkeeper21 2
if you want the vixon 2 move them just piss on top of the hole. but if it were me id either get my terrier out or just sit and wait with my rimmy. Quote Link to post

donnyc 1,203
Funny enough Ive just had a call from a keeper his neigbours wife has just lost two bottle fed lambs to a fox..Keepers had a quick look and found a earth with bits of lamb outside ..He hasnt got too close so it should still be there in the morning ..What would you do??? Guest miller1989
If there's lambs going missing then needs must be met to keep your permission! And if your killing them for no other reason than a sport well your al realy sad sad sad fecker and need to get a life! Moving them on is as all the genuine people have said piss on holes, let the terrier take a look 1ft or so inside or just make a bit noise and leave they wont be there i the morning! hue jeers 6
Same time of year and the same question. Same answers, as well as the same statements about anyone who 'hunts' cubs being w*nkers etc. How unlucky is the Vixen who has or moves cubs to a sporting farm or keeperd land ?, answer, very. Thats how it goes, they are classed as vermin and hopefully for them, are culled as humanely as possible. Personally, I hand cubs over to the person responsible for the land, they do as they wish with them, I seem to 'miss' enough Foxes bolting through Winter to have a clear consience. Quote Link to post
Guest lurchers&terriers
Like already said if it needs to be done it needs to be done but doing it just for sport isnt right. I know of one bloke who digs all year as much as he can and doesnt give a flying f**k for his dogs the quarry or the land he works. He will dig all year and not back fill one single earth. I and others have told and told him but he doesnt give a f**k. one time i seen him walking to his house on a monday morning and i knew his bitch just had pups so i was qurious and asked to see them. He took me to a shed out the back where there were two extremely thin adult terriers. He liftedd the lid on a wooden box and inside was the mother and 5 pups in a real bad shape. I asked him whats he playing at and he said its ok mate iv been out since friday on the piss i couldnt come over to sort them. So from friday to monday he left them dogs in a shed with dirty water no food piss and shit everywhere and he thought that was ok. Im not a violant type of guy but i should of decked him there and then. Quote Link to post
Guest oldskool
cleared away a big vixen and cubs today... to cut a long story short the keeper by-passed his usual lads and came to me so i couldnt refuse... wee bitch work really really well... vixen and 4 cubs accounted for and i have mixed feelings... half of me is glad the wee bitch done well on her first real dig and the other half of me is a bit saddened by a job that i really dont like carrying out... but now i have new permission as a result... left the phone in the car so i took a few when i got back, she faired out well for a bitch that was mixing it well just before she got her usual treatment and bath, she should be firing on all cylinders tomorrow Quote Link to post
