I once a few year ago near my dads house saw a fox and a cat walking up a track together!...they looked like the best of buds walking together like there wasnt a care in the world it was early one summer evening!...I was shocked really as i thought they wouldnt tolerate each other..wish i had a camera but has anyone else seen or heard of this?

Id tend to agree with Kane and chilli,i used to have a pic of a fox carrying a dead cat which i reckon was probably road kill, and i once saw a fox doing its 'dance of death' in front of a big white cat,the cat stood its ground and started hissing and spitting and the fox left it alone.

saw a big fox circling a cat last year!

the cat had no choice in the mater and the fox was gona have it no two ways about it!

so i tryed to get as close to them as poss with out beeing seen

so with the lurcher ready i started to sneeked up when the fox spoted us

so i let the dog fly

the fox went one way and the cat another

and yep you guessed it !

the dog went streight after the cat!:no:

but thats the only time iv seen it

the thing that makes me think that this animal does it when it can is

that this took place in the middle of a town and there are loads of fast food

outlets so theres much more easy food for it.

so was this a one off ?

i just dont know but it dint look like it.

I too have seen a cat looking like it was playing with a fox whilst out lamping once, don't know if the fox had anything more sinister in mind but it definately looked like they were playing with each other
